Director of Operations & Business Development, EMEIA

• Provide general management and oversight for the Plzeň facility, including purchasing, supply chain, assembly, quality assurance, distribution, and customer service
• Develop and execute business plans to improve the performance of our spare parts business
• Analyze markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and direct sales programs to develop new opportunities and markets
• Coordinate distribution and warehousing in line with company policies
• Review production costs and product quality, modifying programs to ensure profitable operations
• Meet with customers in the can-making, beverage, and food packaging industries to promote and evaluate services
• Maintain our customer training facility in Europe
• Lead and manage subordinate supervisors in the EMEIA division
• Responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating employees, as well as resolving any personnel issues

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
• At least five years of experience in being directly responsible for the sales of Capital Equipment to the can making, or a closely related industry
• Established in leadership and operations management, with experience gained from over 10 years within an industrial manufacturing environment, having had progressive responsibilities within either engineering, supply-chain or manufacturing functions
• Fluent in English and comfortable using it as the primary language for business communications
• Technical expertise in highly engineered solutions for packaging and rigid metal forming
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Up to 50% international travel
• Work on-site at our Plzeň, Czechia location, Monday through Friday when not traveling

MBA is a plus
