About the Role Director of Nursing Arlington Heights, IL (Hybrid) Community-Based Residential Services Organization
Job Responsibility:
Provide clinical oversight and nursing services for adults in Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA), ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality care
Delegate and monitor medication administration and treatments, evaluating outcomes and staff performance
Train, supervise, and coach nursing staff and direct support personnel, including medication administration training and ongoing compliance education
Ensure regulatory compliance with all applicable DHS, state, and program-specific medical requirements
Oversee admissions, medical documentation, psychotropic medication monitoring, and required health assessments, including Tardive Dyskinesia screenings
Coordinate nursing care across multiple residential sites, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
Maintain accountability for the integrity, efficiency, and professionalism of medical services across the program
Requirements:
Active Illinois RN license and legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience within the past 5 years (IDD, residential, behavioral health, long-term care, or community-based care strongly preferred)
Experience delegating medication administration and training non-licensed staff in compliance with Illinois DHS regulations (Rule 116)
Ability to travel to residential sites, participate in on-call rotations, and perform physical requirements including two-person lifts
