Job Description:

Drive operational excellence and patient outcomes across ambulatory services as Director of Nursing, Ambulatory at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for all ambulatory nursing services across the hospital’s outpatient network
  • Oversee a team of four direct reports and 39 FTEs
  • Serve as a catalyst for cultural and operational transformation
  • Build aligned, high-functioning teams
  • Drive measurable quality improvements
  • Standardize ambulatory nursing practices
  • Lead strategic initiatives that position the organization for sustained growth
  • Provide operational and clinical leadership coverage when needed

Requirements:

  • BSN required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Active New York RN license required
  • Minimum of seven years of progressive nursing leadership experience required
  • At least five years of experience in ambulatory, outpatient, or multisite management
