The Director of Maternal Child Services is accountable for the overall administration, organization, performance of the Maternal Child Service Line, which includes, but is not limited to, Perinatal Services, Labor and Delivery, Post-Partum, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Pediatrics.
Job Responsibility:
Accountable for the overall administration, organization, performance of the Maternal Child Service Line
Strategically plans, creates, directs and monitors the infrastructure to support successful services
Directs the clinical and business aspects of all programs offered by the service including financial performance, marketing, business development, human resources, productivity, short and long-range planning
Works in collaboration with the medical directors of the service line to implement the strategic plan and to ensure continuous quality improvements in the clinical/operational areas
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Master’s degree preferred
Minimum three (3) years of acute care hospital experience required
Experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery or Neonatal Intensive Care required
Current California RN License required
BLS required
PALS, ACLS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire/transfer
