We are looking for an experienced and innovative Director of Marketing to lead our company's marketing efforts in Southfield, Michigan. This role is pivotal in shaping and implementing strategies that drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and foster customer engagement. As a key member of the leadership team, the ideal candidate will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring all marketing initiatives align with business objectives. Job Responsibility:
Develop and oversee the company's annual marketing plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure alignment with business goals
Establish measurable KPIs and reporting structures to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns
Create and maintain a consistent brand identity, messaging framework, and value proposition across all channels
Lead the development of marketing collateral, presentations, case studies, and advertising materials to support sales and branding efforts
Optimize digital marketing channels for lead generation and audience engagement while leveraging analytics for continuous improvement
Design and execute integrated demand generation campaigns to support pipeline growth and enhance sales enablement
Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and competitive insights, supporting product positioning and launches
Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, while coordinating with external vendors and agencies
Organize and oversee events such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, and other customer-focused initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales tools, refine messaging, and enhance competitive intelligence
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles
Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, brand management, content creation, and performance analytics
Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies in a growing or small business environment
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and multi-functional projects
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a talent for storytelling
Preferred experience in regulated or technical industries and familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
Strong strategic thinking, adaptability, and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings
