Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies that amplify organizational goals, enhance visibility, and drive engagement. This role requires a visionary leader with a flair for data-driven storytelling and expertise in managing cross-functional teams and external partnerships.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to support organizational objectives, including attendance, membership, and fundraising
Translate the organization’s vision into actionable and creative marketing initiatives
Supervise and mentor a collaborative team of marketing professionals and external contractors
Ensure consistency in brand voice and user experience across traditional, digital, and experiential marketing channels
Analyze campaign performance and audience engagement data to inform strategic decisions and improve outcomes
Build relationships with media outlets and oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, and event promotions
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility
Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and financial goals are met
Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to align marketing efforts with organizational priorities
Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and accountability within the marketing team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
a Master’s degree is preferred
At least 7 years of progressive experience in marketing leadership, ideally within nonprofits, museums, or cultural institutions
Proven expertise in developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams
Proficiency in digital marketing, content strategy, and analytics
Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, including public speaking
Demonstrated success in working with media outlets, creative agencies, and community partners
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
