Director of Marketing position at Nekajui Peninsula Papagayo a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. Responsible for shaping and executing overall marketing strategy, coordinating with sales management, developing programs to generate tours, managing marketing workforce, and ensuring alignment of marketing and sales strategies within the luxury hospitality environment of The Ritz-Carlton.
Job Responsibility:
Shapes and executes an overall marketing strategy
Communicates strategy to marketing team and other business units
Coordinates with sales management to ensure alignment of marketing and sales strategies
Evaluates past programs/events and develops new programs to generate tours
Participates in performance management, coaching, recruiting, and selection of marketing workforce
Develops compensation plans to maximize productivity
Develop and implement strategic plans including budget considerations and forecasts
Verify pricing and communications consistency across all channels
Develop tour generation program initiatives
Collect and analyze competitive intelligence
Manage sales floor to ensure efficient guest tour flow
Monitor guest experience survey data
Coordinate with marketing operations on new initiatives
Develop strategies and incentive programs
Conduct performance and cost analysis of past programs
Use reports on individual and team production performance
Conduct competitive market analysis
Monitor Budget versus Actual Results
Negotiate contracts and work with vendors
Build and maintain relationships between sales management and marketing department
Share marketing information and strategy with sales force
Build partnerships with resort operations, hotel linkage, OPC vendors
Coordinate and prepare quarterly business objectives
Prepare and conduct team meetings
Measure performance of marketing executives/team leaders
Provide coaching and mentoring
Reward and recognize associate performance
Motivate associates to increase production
Observe and identify associate areas of strength
Develop and update sales training manuals

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience
minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
Proficiency in reading and writing English
Willingness to work in close contact with the general public in sales and marketing situations
Strong communication and customer service skills
Openness to adapt to different cultural contexts based on location
Willing to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs
