Our client is a content-driven events, media and publishing business delivering news and insights to investors and iGaming professionals. You will join as Director of Marketing to design, build, and lead a high-performance marketing function, driving brand authority and commercial growth as the business expands into new verticals. This is a remote, global role with one vacancy. Relocation is not offered. This role reports to the Commercial Director and sits within the Commercial Department alongside Sales and Revenue Operations. Marketing is a strategic growth driver, not just a support function.
Job Responsibility
Marketing Strategy and Planning: Develop and own the annual marketing strategy across events, media, research, and future verticals, define positioning and build the master calendar
Four Marketing Pillars: Provide strategic leadership for Brand & Authority, Event Marketing, Media Marketing, and Accelerate Commercial Marketing to align and scale
Commercial Alignment and Revenue Contribution: Ensure marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline growth
align campaigns with revenue targets
partner with the Sales Director to maintain funnel integrity
demonstrate measurable pipeline contribution within the first two quarters
Team Leadership and Performance: Lead and develop the marketing team, set KPIs, address underperformance decisively, and build future leadership as we scale, cultivating a commercially literate culture
Budget, Tooling and Operations: Own the marketing budget and resource allocation
approve agency and paid media spend
select and evolve tools with Revenue Operations

Requirements
Proven leadership in building and scaling high-performance marketing functions with clear commercial impact
Strong commercial acumen and revenue literacy, with deep understanding of pipeline dynamics and conversion optimization
Experience leading and developing marketing teams with accountability and continuous improvement
Confident strategic communicator who explains data-driven decisions to senior leaders and cross-functional partners
Ability to operate at a high strategic level while maintaining strong execution focus and detail
Results-driven mindset, thriving on delivering measurable commercial outcomes

Marketing technology proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms
