As the Director of Marketing Analytics and Insights at Bentley, you will be the driving force behind our global marketing data strategy. You won't just analyze data; you'll transform it into a strategic asset that fuels our growth. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing Operations, you will lead a talented team to uncover actionable insights, optimize our marketing performance, and partner with executive leadership to shape the future of our customer engagement and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Define and execute a forward-thinking analytics vision for our marketing organization, ensuring your strategy directly aligns with our core business objectives
Develop and implement a comprehensive measurement framework to demonstrate the ROI of all marketing initiatives, from campaign effectiveness to customer lifetime value
Oversee the creation and maintenance of marketing dashboards that provide real-time, actionable insights
Translate complex data into compelling stories and actionable recommendations for our executive team and other stakeholders
Collaborate with leaders in Product, Sales, and Finance to foster a data-first culture
Work to establish shared data definitions and empower teams across Bentley with self-service analytics capabilities
Mentor and lead a team of 2-3 marketing analytics professionals, fostering their growth and guiding them to deliver exceptional results
Harness the power of machine learning, predictive modeling, and customer segmentation to uncover new opportunities and optimize our marketing strategies
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
Proven track record of partnering with marketing leadership to optimize spend and demonstrate ROI
Hands-on experience with enterprise-level marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and CRMs (e.g., Salesforce)
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team of analysts
Expertise in data analysis and visualization, with proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, R, or advanced Excel
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and A/B testing
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data stories to both technical and non-technical audiences
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a critical-thinking mindset
Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements)
Nice to have:
Experience leading the adoption of AI-driven analytics tools preferred
Experience in a B2B or software industry context preferred
