Director of Maritime Growth – DefenseTech – Washington D.C. Darwin have partnered with a Defense & Maritime Technology start-up who have a unique offering with massive growth potential, building deep-sea technology that will power the future of undersea warfare. They secured Series B at over $40m in 2025 and are now looking for someone to head up their growth in the Maritime Defense sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and execute a GTM strategy that will help take them from $20m to a $100m+ revenue organisation
  • Head up their growth in the Maritime Defense sector

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of individual contribution, selling high-tech solutions within the Defense & Maritime industry
  • Hunter mentality, opening up new markets, experienced going from R&D to production within start-up environments
  • Ex-Navy, you’ve ideally held subsea / seabed warfare and/or Innovation-related positions
  • Strong understanding of Defense procurement processes and network of decision makers across NAVSEA, ONA, DARPA, OPNAV, N97, DIU, APFIT, RPP
  • US Citizen, with active TS/SCI clearance or ability to gain
