We’re seeking a dynamic Director of Legal Support Services to lead and elevate the operational backbone of a growing law firm. This strategic leader will oversee managers responsible for Legal Administrative Assistants, Paralegals, Office Leaders, and Work Product Support teams—ensuring exceptional client service, operational efficiency, and high-quality work product across multiple offices. This is a high-impact role reporting to the Chief HR Officer and partnering closely with senior leadership.
Job Responsibility:
Lead & Inspire: Provide strategic direction and day-to-day guidance to managers across diverse legal support functions
Drive Excellence: Establish performance standards and foster a client-centric culture
Shape Strategy: Develop and execute goals aligned with firm-wide objectives, including talent strategy and operational efficiency
Champion Innovation: Implement technology solutions and process improvements to enhance workflows and scalability
Develop Talent: Recruit, coach, and retain top-tier leaders while building career progression frameworks
Requirements:
Proven experience managing people leaders and multiple departments
Prior law firm leadership experience
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead change initiatives and foster collaboration across offices
