Job Description

We are seeking a senior technology leader to drive execution across a broad IT environment spanning application development, QA, and infrastructure. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership to translate strategy into delivery, while leading a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role is ideal for a people-first leader with a strong technical foundation and a proven ability to lead through managers, align teams, and deliver results across multiple initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead day-to-day operations across software engineering, quality assurance, and infrastructure (cloud, DevOps, databases)
  • Translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable delivery plans and ensure execution across teams
  • Drive alignment across internal teams and external partners
  • Establish effective processes, governance frameworks, and operating rhythms
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle (planning through production support)
  • Promote best practices across development, testing, security, and deployment
  • Implement delivery metrics and KPIs to improve quality, predictability, and performance
  • Support and evolve a modern technology environment, including cloud-based platforms
  • Ensure alignment with architecture standards, security best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Identify risks, manage dependencies, and adjust plans to meet delivery timelines
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define priorities and success criteria
  • Lead and develop a team of managers and engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud, or DevOps environments
  • 5+ years leading technical teams or engineering organizations
  • Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and modern development practices
  • Background supporting production systems, monitoring, and incident response
  • Experience defining requirements, architecture, and testing strategies

Nice to have

  • Experience working with distributed teams is a plus
  • Exposure to cloud cost management and platform operations preferred
