Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Director of IT Application Services to lead and oversee the development, implementation, and management of enterprise systems within our organization. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, this role requires a deep understanding of IT strategies and applications architecture to drive business growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and execute the strategy, architecture, and deployment of enterprise systems to support organizational expansion
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of application roadmaps in collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Manage the overall applications architecture and ensure alignment with business requirements
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify process improvements and implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency
  • Oversee product management for applications and ensure technical delivery aligns with strategic goals
  • Maintain regular communication with leadership teams to ensure alignment on IT priorities and initiatives
  • Provide guidance and leadership to medium and large teams involved in application development and deployment
  • Ensure optimization and functionality of relational database systems and IT support methodologies
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of enterprise applications to ensure they meet organizational needs
  • Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies to improve delivery and project outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years of experience managing medium to large teams in system design, development, and deployment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relational database management systems and IT support structures
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards, Hyperion, and Salesforce platforms
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and steer technical strategies
  • Proven ability to develop and implement applications architecture
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and their application in IT processes
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with business stakeholders and leadership teams
