The Director of Investor Relations will serve as the primary strategic voice of GoodLeap’s capital markets performance, leading the analysis of originated assets, building data-driven narratives for investors, and directing cross-functional collaboration across Capital Markets Sales, Analytics, Underwriting, Servicing, and Product Management. This individual will own GoodLeap’s investor relations function within the Portfolio Management team, shaping how loan performance, credit quality, and macroeconomic trends are communicated to current and prospective investors. Operating with high autonomy and independent judgment, the Director is expected to serve as a credible, senior-level counterpart to external stakeholders and to guide the work of junior team members on a dotted-line basis. This role is essential to preserving investor trust and directly influences the duration and stability of GoodLeap’s revenue.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the analysis of GoodLeap’s originated asset performance, directing cross-functional engagement with Servicing and Capital Markets Sales to build authoritative narratives around asset performance and operational trends
  • Build the narrative for and present strategic insights to GoodLeap’s current and prospective investor base, serving as the primary senior point of contact for recurring and ad hoc reporting on asset performance trends
  • Commission and direct bespoke research into borrower creditworthiness and GoodLeap’s customer positioning within the broader macroeconomic landscape, synthesizing findings for senior leadership and external investors

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's (or advanced) degree
  • 8-10 years of experience in banking, management consulting, or specialty finance
  • Experience presenting directly to institutional investors, credit facilities, or senior executive audiences
  • ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional workstreams and influence stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Strategic judgment and ownership mentality
  • able to set priorities, manage ambiguity, and deliver in a lean, fast-paced environment with minimal direction
  • Must possess strong technical acumen in SQL and AI tools
  • Tableau, Python, and familiarity with Databricks are a Plus
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel without use of a mouse, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of consumer finance concepts, including credit risk modeling, loan lifecycle, and performance metrics
  • Strong technical acumen for modeling projects
