The Director of Information Technology is responsible for overseeing all daily Information Technology processes and functions, provides leadership and ensures team members are completing responsibilities timely and efficiently, collaborates with other departments to ensure process and compliance standards are followed, is responsible and accountable for the functionality of all computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. The Director of Information Technology will also supervise the implementation and maintenance of our client’s system needs, as well as will provide guidance on security needs and ideas on how to move their business forward.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with the executive team and field leaders to own all Information Technology related activities
Prepare training material for staff as new products are introduced
Manage and report allocation of IT budget
Purchase and manage inventory of IT equipment, as well as set up new employees with requested company property
Organize and maintain company files and permissions including SharePoint, Office 365, site equipment, and new hire equipment
Implement IT policy and SOPs for the organization
Regularly check network and data security, diagnose hardware and software issues remotely and in-person
Ability to analyze and solve complex technical issues and have strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects
Diagnose hardware and software issues for users both remotely and in-person when applicable
Provide useful data to help guide decision making, and allow the company to scale effectively and efficiently
Evaluate existing policies and procedures for compliance and organizational effectiveness
Organize and maintain the company SharePoint site
Manage, build, challenge, and motivate a team of Information Technology professionals to deliver a complete Information Technology program that can scale as the company grows
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology preferred
Minimum of (5) years of experience in a Director/Manager level information technology role
Knowledge of compliance requirements, as well as laws and regulations
Advanced knowledge of proficiencies with Microsoft SharePoint, Windows 10 or 11, and Office 365
Advanced knowledge of software and hardware components, and demonstrated capability with installation
Advanced knowledge of system software installation processes and troubleshooting
Advanced experience troubleshooting network systems and Wi-Fi Connectivity
Knowledgeable and current with a wide range of software and hardware components
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task while remaining organized under deadlines
