The Director of IT will lead Talkiatry’s information technology operations and enterprise systems, ensuring reliability, security, and a seamless user experience across a fully remote workforce. This leader will oversee the fast growing IT team, manage enterprise tools and applications, and partner across departments to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable IT services that empower clinicians and staff alike.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute Talkiatry’s IT roadmap aligned with organizational goals, emphasizing operational excellence, automation, and security
IT Operations & Infrastructure: Oversee enterprise IT systems, endpoint management, identity and access management, and collaboration tools
SaaS Application Management: Manage Talkiatry’s portfolio of SaaS applications, ensuring seamless integration with Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access management
IT Governance & Security: Partner with the Information Security team to maintain compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other regulatory frameworks
Vendor & Budget Management: Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and procurement processes
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a growing and highly distributed (6+ employee) IT team
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Operations, and other departments to ensure technology supports organizational needs
Service Management: Leverage ServiceNow to enhance IT service delivery through structured incident, request, and change management processes
Enablement: Champion automation and self-service initiatives that improve employee productivity and satisfaction
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement modern IT tools and practices that improve performance, reliability, and the overall employee IT experience
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
10+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven experience leading IT teams of 10 or more members, ideally across multiple disciplines (service delivery, infrastructure, applications)
Demonstrated experience managing SaaS ecosystems and integrating with identity platforms such as Entra ID (Azure AD) or Okta
Hands-on experience implementing and managing ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, information security principles, and compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build strong partnerships across departments such as HR, Operations, and Security
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance hands-on execution and long-term planning
Experience supporting a distributed or fully remote workforce
Nice to have:
