The Director of Industrial Transformation is responsible for the Performance Management of A320 FAL perimeter up to FOT. This position is accountable for the strategy and deployment in order to achieve industrial maturity and competitiveness.
Job Responsibility:
Define Baseline and set yearly Roadmap
Performance Management
Coordinate, align and negotiate with VSM Organization targets TCO / TFO for FAL Mobile
Cascade of targets in each business unit and with the BU Leaders up to APT (station) level
Resources Management of the FAL perimeter
Resource planning vs workload
AOP and Surge planning together with Finance RC
Implement competitiveness Governance in FAL Mobile to focus on Recurring cost reduction and the right routines for RC review
Coordinate with VSM Organization to better understand the baseline and define yearly improvement targets on Recurring cost drivers
Define yearly targets and portfolio of initiatives in each business unit and with the BU Leaders
Develop recurring cost driver models for all Mobile FAL Site departments
Lead a team of Performance Management Analysts to align KPI tree with the different levels and create additional KPIs as required
Establish Control Room for FAL Management
Propagate QG between each stations to secure internal customer enablement
Performance reviews and QPS routines
Lead a Data analyst to properly manage resources vs workload
Define workload model considering AC complexity and Steps
Set up workforce corresponding to workload
Align with HR Headcount need
Competencies management: follow and manage skill level or required personal to derive training needs
Coordinate and align with Development and Training
Recurring Cost convergence consolidation of the recurring cost performance and synthesize key points and enable management decision that support convergence toward continuous improvement targets and initiative in the Mobile FAL site functions and programs
Lead a team of improvement experts to yearly delivery ambition 2025 RC reduction target in Mobile perimeter approximate 30% RC reduction by 2025
Lead Kaizen events for small improvements
Develop Tactical Improvement plans (TIPS) per Business unit and support the support MFT to achieve actions plans on time
Disruption reduction initiatives: Drive actions that were resulted from Performance reviews and QPS routines for NC reduction and through Kaizen events
STV Base Line improvement: Coordinate external subcontracting companies to ensure the results of the MTM analysis NVA activities have a clear action plan to eliminate wastes
Ensure right link from MTM analysis to TIPS of each area
Buy in the Make initiatives to reduce material costs
Collaborate at site competitiveness leader to identify Charge back and impacts to A320 program
Budget owner (CAPEX/OPEX) annual budget of >$1.5M spend. Select and fund the right projects from each business unit
Lead the RC governance monthly at FAL Level, coordinate Finance and BU to report impact of projects on RC savings on MSN
In conjunction with Finance to report the Recurring cost/AC and projection as per RC reduction project portfolio. Secure circularity between forecasts and bridges
Participate in governance of the overall Single Aisle Ambition 2025 project and ensure reporting and visibility and report risks
Bring new ideas through benchmarking with other businesses /sites/suppliers
Collaborate with site level stakeholders and understand site level projects and their impact on A320 Unit cost of production
Using validated samples to identify, communicate and promote the use of Lean tools and techniques for effective problem-solving at all levels
Requirements:
Master's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
Must have solid knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, production management and industrialization principles /or equivalent education and experience
Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in Production, continuous improvement role
Experienced with performance management and quality gates
Experienced in project management, including multifunctional teams and financial aspects
Able to demonstrate operational experience in the implementation and optimization of industrial systems (conception phase, implementation, management of production processes)
Strong analytical skills, planning, problem solving, and good interpersonal skills
Open mind and a great ability to work as a team player
Sense of organization, time management and you demonstrate autonomy
Good communicator and are able to listen, coach and guide employees
Patient, positive and have perseverance along with good organization skills
Energetic person with initiative and good planning skills, strong sense of responsibility, strong negotiation skills and good judgment
