Join St Margaret’s Hospice as our Director of Income Generation and play a vital role in ensuring fundraising and retail remain central pillars of our new five-year strategy. Help raise over £10m+ every year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help shape the future of St Margaret’s Hospice
  • Act as an ambassador and represent the hospice
  • Develop and own pivotal relationships both internally and externally
  • Role model the values of compassion, collaboration and ambition
  • Hold yourself and others to account so the best interests of St Margaret’s are always met
  • Raise significant funds through various methods (legacies, lottery, challenge events, collections, merchandising, retail operations)

Requirements:

  • Experience in fundraising or charity retail
  • Commercial acumen
  • Ability to craft a compelling case for support and negotiate multi-year six figure grants
  • Experience leading and inspiring teams
  • Relevant and lived experience, tenacity, curiosity and a hunger to succeed
  • Strong grounding in charity sector (fundraising or retail) or transferable skills with drive to learn
  • Criminal background check via disclosure procedure
