The Director of Human Resources will lead all aspects of HR strategy, operations, and talent management for a growing tech organization. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to executives and managers, driving initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, improve employee experience, and ensure compliance with employment regulations. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with responsibility for shaping HR infrastructure during a high-growth phase.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals and growth plans
Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
Lead initiatives that enhance company culture, engagement, and retention
Oversee full-cycle recruiting strategy in partnership with talent acquisition teams
Design workforce planning models to support scaling needs
Lead succession planning and leadership development programs
Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues and investigations
Oversee performance management systems and ensure consistent application across teams
Promote a culture of accountability, feedback, and continuous improvement
Partner with Finance and leadership on compensation strategy and benchmarking
Oversee benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and employee satisfaction
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, and systems
Drive HRIS optimization and data-driven decision-making
Lead and mentor HR team members
Build scalable HR processes to support organizational growth
Foster a collaborative and high-performance HR function
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in a fast-paced environment (tech strongly preferred)
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development
Experience supporting scaling organizations or high-growth environments
Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive strategic initiatives
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Experience with HRIS platforms and data-driven HR decision-making
Nice to have:
Background in SaaS, software, or technology-driven companies
Experience leading HR through organizational change or rapid growth
Exposure to both strategic HR and hands-on operational responsibilities
