We are looking for an experienced HR leader to guide and elevate the people function for a growing organization in Lewisville, Texas. This role blends strategic partnership with hands-on execution, supporting leaders across field, warehouse, logistics, and corporate teams while strengthening processes, compliance, and employee experience. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, confidence in handling sensitive workplace matters, and the ability to build scalable HR practices that support continued growth.
Job Responsibility:
Advise senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, talent strategy, and people-related business risks
Direct day-to-day human resources operations, including oversight of payroll, benefits coordination, and the external HR service partnership
Design and implement policies, workflows, and infrastructure that create a more consistent and scalable HR function
Lead complex employee relations matters such as investigations, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, attendance issues, and separations with discretion and sound judgment
Coach people managers on documentation standards, policy application, and effective performance management practices
Partner with legal counsel and internal stakeholders on employment-related claims, documentation, and other high-sensitivity matters
Strengthen compliance across multi-state employment practices, including labor regulations, I-9 processes, wage and hour requirements, leave administration, and workers’ compensation coordination
Manage and develop the HR team, providing direction, accountability, and recommendations for future team structure as business needs evolve
Build effective recruiting strategies for hourly, skilled labor, logistics, warehouse, technician, and corporate roles while supporting employer brand initiatives and workforce forecasting
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field
SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification highly preferred
Must have experience working for a company with 100-250 employees
10+ years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership responsibility in a complex or multi-site environment
Demonstrated success handling employee relations issues, investigations, performance management, and other sensitive workplace matters
Strong knowledge of HR administration, benefits programs, onboarding practices, and core compliance requirements
Experience working with HRIS platforms and managing an outsourced HR or PEO relationship, including ADP TotalSource
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a lean, fast-moving HR function
Proven leadership experience developing HR team members and partnering effectively with executives and operational leaders
Strong communication, judgment, and organizational skills with the ability to manage confidential information appropriately
