Job Description

The Director of Housekeeping will oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping department at Four Seasons Resort Red Sea, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, this role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of luxury and service while fostering a motivated and engaged team.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage all aspects of housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and uniform services
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, quality standards, and productivity goals
  • Monitor inventory levels for linens, supplies, and cleaning products, ensuring cost-effective management
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing housekeeping team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure adherence to Four Seasons standards
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities for team members
  • Ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet or exceed Four Seasons’ quality standards
  • Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing overall satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures within the housekeeping department

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in housekeeping, preferably within luxury hospitality
  • Pre-opening experience is highly desirable
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is required
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and manage a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Effective communication skills to engage with guests and team members
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is required
  • Must be eligible to work in Red Sea, Saudi Arabia
