Job Description:

The Director of Hotel Intelligence is a key role focused on driving business growth by leveraging data and industry relationships. This position is responsible for supporting the development and promotion of P&L benchmarking analytics, using data to enhance all aspects of business development. As a HotStats Subject Matter Expert, you will be at the forefront of the industry, providing critical insights and analysis that directly impact strategic decisions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Play a key role in increasing the company's bottom line by developing relationships with key partners to boost data contributions and product sales
  • Lead Sales Initiatives: Develop and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations to potential customers to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Manage Client Relationships: Proactively generate new leads and maintain detailed records of client negotiations and interactions within the company’s CRM system
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert: Create, maintain, and deliver key knowledge and learning content to support internal teams and external partners
  • Represent the Company: Act as a brand ambassador by attending and presenting at industry conferences and networking events
  • Support Marketing and Promotion: Assist with the delivery of the company’s marketing messages across various channels, including newsletters, social media, and industry events

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in a proactive, customer facing role
  • Knowledge of the hotel industry, including operational best practices and market trends
  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills, with a track record of effectively negotiating with key stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel as the role demands, including international trips

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI)
  • Prior experience working with organizational leaders and executive teams
