Job Description

This position will be responsible for shaping and driving the strategic vision for Human Capital Management (HCM) systems across the organization. This individual serves as a bridge between the technical team, HR business professionals, and senior leadership, ensuring that HCM technologies are leveraged to support the operational and business objectives of the company. A key focus of the role will be the implementation of a new HCM system, overseeing the full project lifecycle from selection and deployment to post-launch optimization. Additionally, the Director will lead continuous process improvement initiatives across all HR systems and platforms, ensuring they remain efficient, effective, and aligned with evolving business needs. This position is tasked with evaluating emerging trends in HCM technology, aligning system capabilities with workforce needs, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement global strategies for operating HCM-related technology services
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior management and HCM technologies and services, best practices, and vendor relations
  • Define and execute a global HR technology roadmap aligned with organizational objectives and regional compliance requirements
  • Ensure systems support multi-country payroll, benefits, and workforce management
  • Serve as the global owner of Rippling and other HRIS platforms, ensuring optimal configuration for diverse geographies
  • Drive integration with finance, IT, and third-party systems to enable end-to-end automation
  • Develops and maintains procedures governing the operation, maintenance and security of the HR systems
  • Troubleshoots system problems and involves necessary parties, bringing any issues to closure
  • Establishes a positive relationship with vendors and remains current with all technological advancements pertaining to the systems
  • Directs the testing and implementation of system updates, fixes and reports prior to release to the end-users
  • Lead global HR systems transformation projects, including vendor selection, implementation, migration, and change management
  • Establish governance frameworks for system usage and data integrity across regions
  • Partner with HR leaders to standardize core processes while accommodating local regulatory and cultural requirements
  • Implement and continually refine scalable workflows for onboarding, payroll, benefits, and talent management
  • Develop global reporting and analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights for workforce planning and compliance
  • Ensure data accuracy and security across all regions
  • Collaborates with the Data, Analytics, and Reporting team to ensure relevant and reliable information is available for firm decision makers
  • Maintain adherence to GDPR, and other international data privacy regulations
  • Implement robust security protocols and audit processes
  • Remains knowledgeable regarding privacy issues relating to all data housed in the HR system and ensures compliance with the various laws
  • Understands federal and state laws as they pertain to all HR and oversees compliance with same
  • Build and lead a global HR technology team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement
  • Act as a strategic partner to HR, Finance, IT, and regional leadership teams
  • Prepares estimated budgets for capital and operational expenditures relating to the maintenance of the HR systems
  • Meets with Director of Benefits to discuss proposed new plans or plan changes and analyzes to determine effect on HR systems and dissemination

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR technology leadership roles within global organizations
  • Hands-on experience with Rippling, including global implementation and optimization
  • Proven success in HR systems transformation projects across multiple regions
  • Strong understanding of global HR processes (payroll, benefits, compliance, talent management)
  • Expertise in HR technology strategy and vendor management
  • Strong project management skills with experience in Agile or similar methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across cultures and time zones
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in HR data reporting and visualization tools
