Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain a comprehensive pipeline of acquisition opportunities by proactively researching, networking, and tracking industry trends
Cultivate strong relationships with franchisees to position the company as their preferred buyer when they choose to sell
Establish and strengthen connections with brand leaders to ensure our organization is the go-to partner for acquisition opportunities
Assess acquisition targets for their financial, operational, and strategic compatibility with the company
Develop and deliver detailed strategic recommendations and analyses to executive leadership
Manage key aspects of the deal process, including sourcing opportunities, conducting due diligence, negotiating terms, and drafting letters of intent
Collaborate with internal departments such as Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations, as well as external advisors, to facilitate smooth transaction execution
Monitor industry developments and competitor actions to identify emerging opportunities and potential brands for acquisition
Requirements:
Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, franchise strategy, or business development
Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate opportunities and present strategic recommendations
Excellent relationship-building abilities to engage with franchisees and brand leaders effectively
Demonstrated expertise in managing acquisition processes, from sourcing to negotiation and execution
Ability to collaborate across departments and with external advisors to ensure seamless transactions
Solid understanding of industry trends and competitive dynamics to identify potential growth opportunities
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey complex strategies to diverse stakeholders
