Job Description:

As the Director of Global Thought Leadership, you will be a technology evangelist for Belden, responsible for seeing the whole picture of technologies and fostering our reputation as a technology leader. You will manage all thought leadership activities, providing executive decisions when needed and handling customer relations from a thought leadership perspective. This role is crucial for amplifying Belden's position as a technology leader through strategic events and communications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Shape industry trends by publishing insights on emerging technologies, speaking at major conferences, and amplifying our voice through podcasts, webinars, and tech media
  • Drive a culture of innovation internally by championing programs like hackathons, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and leading high-profile events like the Belden Innovation Award
  • Build strategic partnerships by engaging with startups, academia, and tech consortia, and establishing strong CTO/CIO relationships to provoke future innovation
  • Represent Belden in key industry forums, advisory boards, and standards bodies to help shape policy and advocate for responsible technology deployment
  • Define and measure the ROI of thought leadership by tracking engagement, brand perception, and the direct influence on H2/H3 innovation activities
