Job Description

Argenta is looking to fill the role of Director of Global Marketing at our Shawnee, KS location. This position will drive Argenta’s CDMO commercial strategy, drive communication strategy, create and execute marketing plans across channels and own Argenta's presence at industry events. The ideal candidate brings extensive marketing strategy and execution experience in the animal health CDMO sectors, a strong industry network, and proven skills in content creation, communication plan development, and lead generation.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop & execute Argenta’s global marketing strategy aligned to our growth spans
  • Define Argenta’s brand architecture and position and develop and refine the value proposition across target clients and offerings
  • Lead planning, budgeting, and all performance reporting against defined KPIs
  • Oversee omnichannel campaigns to generate brand awareness and leads across digital (web, social, SEO/SEM, email, content, etc.) and live (events, sales assets, etc.) efforts
  • Own Argenta’s presence at key industry and Argenta-led conferences and trade shows (AHNTI, VMX, PEI, KCAHC Summit, DIAH, etc) as well as planning any strategically important customer events
  • Lead the development of compelling content including case studies, white papers, webinars, presentation decks, sales assets, and trade show materials that highlight Argenta’s offerings and expertise
  • Oversee external media relations and PR strategy
  • Monitor the competitor landscape and provide periodic updates regarding M&A, added capabilities, partnerships, etc
  • Partner closely with the CCO to ensure alignment of marketing to strategic goals
  • Partner closely with Business development to ensure strong sales support and enablement and effective qualification and transition of leads

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably for a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO)
  • Scientific background with an understanding of life sciences
  • animal health experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or scientific field, MBA preferred
  • Proven track record in building marketing strategies
  • Experience managing and developing teams across geographies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including executive presentation skills
  • Collaborative approach with ability to build trust across functions
  • Commercial and financial acumen with ability to understand the sales process and connect marketing efforts to organizational financial goals
  • Nimble and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Accountability for high quality execution that is on time
