Our client, an incredible mission-driven organization, is seeking an experienced and sharp Director of Fundraising Operations to manage the donor CRM system in their Bethesda office!

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the donor database (Salesforce) to build and refine processes for gift entry, acknowledgments, donor agreements, prospect research, and other tracking
  • Maintain varying records in Salesforce, including proposals, pledges, gifts, sponsorships, and any other required deliverables
  • Collaborate across the organization on fundraising initiatives tied to donor activity, the annual fundraising budget, and other related expenses
  • Track and maintain accurate projections of revenue and the status of different proposals, providing regular reports to support the overall fundraising strategy
  • Create dashboards and reports on fundraising activities and upcoming deadlines

Requirements

  • 10+ years of nonprofit database management and a bachelor's degree are required
  • Hands-on experience in managing Salesforce as a donor database is required
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize are key
  • Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills with a passion for employee engagement and customer service
  • Strong understanding of HR-related laws and compliance
  • Excellent organizational skills
