Job Description

The Sebastian Vail is seeking a charismatic and experienced Director of Front Office to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires a dedicated leader with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the Director of Front Office, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the front office department, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction are consistently met.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, train, and mentor front office staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and improve service quality
  • Oversee all front office operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and concierge services
  • Manage guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and operations
  • Optimize front office efficiency by implementing effective processes and technology
  • Monitor and manage front office budgets and financial performance
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, team members, and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a front office or hospitality environment
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest service, and hospitality best practices
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
