The Director of Food & Beverage provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the resort’s Food & Beverage Division. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and an elevated guest experience across all outlets, while developing and inspiring a diverse leadership team. Reporting to the Resort Manager, the Director of Food & Beverage partners closely with the Executive Chef, Planning Committee, and senior leaders to ensure innovation, consistency, and long-term growth.
Job Responsibility
Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Food & Beverage Division, ensuring long-term growth, profitability, and exceptional guest experiences
Lead, mentor, and develop Food & Beverage leaders and teams while upholding Four Seasons cultural values and service standards
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, labor management, purchasing, and inventory control with a focus on financial performance and creative revenue generation
Maintain a strong, visible presence throughout the operation, building meaningful relationships with guests, regular patrons, and internal partners
Collaborate closely with the Resort Manager, Executive Chef, and Planning Committee to design menus, wine programs, and amenities that balance quality, innovation, and value
Ensure consistent compliance with Four Seasons standards, policies, and local regulatory requirements
Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments to support seamless resort operations
Requirements
College degree in hotel/restaurant management, business administration, or equivalent professional experience
Five to seven years of progressive leadership experience across multiple Food & Beverage department head roles
Proven experience leading large-scale Food & Beverage operations within luxury or upscale hospitality environments
Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
Deep operational knowledge of food & beverage service, guest experience standards, and team development
A visible, people-focused leadership style with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
Ability to obtain all required food handling and alcohol service certifications
