We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Director of Food and Beverage to join our The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel in Switzerland! Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the daily Food and Beverage operation, ensuring exceptional service and attention to our guests.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in leading the daily Food and Beverage operation
Ensure exceptional service and attention to guests
Selection, talent management and development of the Food and Beverage team
Be visible in the operation ensuring recognition of guests and cultivating new guest relationships
Work closely with the Executive Chef to plan and develop menus and wine lists
Control expenses through effective planning, budgeting and purchasing decisions, policy making and inventory control
Ensure guests receive the highest levels of service excellence
Build, lead, coach, train, and develop a strong team
Ensure employees feel at home and receive the highest levels of support and care
Create a great workplace for all great people to deliver great experiences
Requirements:
At least five to seven years of experience with a diversity of Food and Beverage management positions
Hotel opening experience is essential
Fluency in German and English is a must
Eligibility to work in the EU
Nice to have:
Previous pre-opening experience
