Director of Finance

• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team
• Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership and the executive committee
• Oversee relationships with auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and financial partners
• Manage cash flow, financing activities, and financial obligations
• Supervise financial statements, audits, and regulatory reporting
• Lead the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and performance analysis
• Optimize internal controls, financial processes, and reporting tools
• Participate in strategic projects, financing activities, and growth initiatives
• Mentor and support the Controller and FP&A Manager.

• CPA designation required
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong experience with external audits, corporate taxation, and lender relationship management
• Solid understanding of financing structures, banking covenants, and debt management
• Ability to present financial results and strategic recommendations to leadership and investors
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards and Canadian taxation
• Proven leadership in managing, developing, and engaging finance teams
• Experience in fintech, lending, financial services, or structured financing is considered an asset.
