Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to provide strategic leadership and oversight of financial operations in Sudbury, Massachusetts. In this role, you will drive financial planning, analysis, and risk management to support the company’s long-term goals. You will collaborate closely with leadership, external stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure financial integrity and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization's long-term objectives
Offer strategic guidance to senior leadership based on in-depth financial analysis and forecasting
Lead the budgeting process and oversee long-term financial planning to ensure alignment with business goals
Serve as the primary contact for investors, auditors, and external stakeholders, fostering strong, detail-oriented relationships
Manage partnerships with third-party accounting firms and financial service providers to ensure accurate and efficient reporting
Provide leadership across financial planning, analysis, and accounting functions, ensuring timely and insightful reporting
Oversee monthly and quarterly financial planning and closing processes, maintaining alignment with organizational objectives
Develop and refine financial models to support decision-making and optimize overall performance
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable recommendations to enhance both operational and financial outcomes
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls while managing external audits

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Related Field, CPA highly desired
10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ in a senior leadership role
Experience with NetSuite preferred
System conversion experience a plus
Experience managing external accounting firms or outsourced financial services providers
Clean resume with limited movement
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Experience in a growth environment
