My client, a highly prestigious nonprofit organization with a rich history rooted in New York City, is looking to expand their team! The Executive Director is seeking a new Director of Finance to play a pivotal role in driving the organization forward and ensuring financial excellence. This is a permanent, full-time position with a highly competitive salary and full benefits—NOT a temp or temp-to-perm opportunity. This is your chance to step into a leadership role with one of NYC's most respected nonprofit organizations.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and present to the Executive Team and Board
  • Manage the budgeting and planning
  • Manage the General Ledger, month end close, financial statement preparation
  • Manage AP/AR
  • Manage their donation and tuition funding
  • Manage HR and Payroll

Requirements

  • MBA or CPA is a +
  • A minimum of a BA/BS in accounting from a top accredited school
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Exceptional communications skills are required
  • A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial
  • He or she must be able to effectively collaborate with individuals both inside and outside the company
