Job Responsibility:
Commercial Partnership: Act as a trusted business partner to Segment Leaders to drive profitable growth, providing actionable insights on pricing discipline, customer mix, and cost-to-serve optimization
Financial Reporting & Governance: Oversee timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in compliance with IFRS and internal control standards
Operational Finance: Partner deeply with Operations to analyze productivity, logistics costs, freight, labour, and overhead absorption
Capital & Working Capital Management: Evaluate capital expenditures and strategic projects, while ensuring strong balance sheet management and working capital optimization (inventory, AR, AP)
Planning & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for your segments
Systems Innovation: Champion continuous improvement in finance processes and partner with IT teams on ERP, reporting tools, and automation initiatives
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and an active CPA designation are mandatory
12+ years of progressive finance experience with 5–7 years in a senior leadership capacity (Director, Senior Controller, or equivalent)
Candidates must have a track record demonstrating high levels of ownership
Background in a large, global, or multinational organization is required
Mandatory Canadian reporting experience and a deep understanding of IFRS
Experience with large ERP platforms (AS400, Hyperion) is a strong asset
