Job Description:

Are you a strategic financial leader who thrives on partnering with executive teams to drive business success? Do you have a strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost management background? Are you adept at analyzing financial data and identifying opportunities for process improvements? We are seeking an experienced Finance Director, who likes to wear multiple hats, to play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making. This individual will act as the primary financial liaison, providing critical insights and recommendations to support company growth and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the preparation, discussion, and presentation of operational planning, including sales and revenue forecasts, operational costs, and organizational structure
  • Analyze dealer performance data to support negotiations and agreement discussions
  • Maintain detailed sales and order analysis to provide comprehensive financial insights
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage accounts receivable, monitor payment performance, and ensure timely collections
  • Oversee forecasting tools for order and sales development, ensuring alignment with business plans and historical trends
  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting, playing a crucial role in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Conduct financial analysis and scenario planning to assist leadership in strategic decision-making
  • Implement and promote cost management initiatives to drive financial efficiency across the organization
  • Support the annual planning process by conducting financial analysis and entering planning figures into relevant systems
  • Oversee inventory management, including annual physical inventory and consignment tracking
  • Ensure compliance with sales and use tax filings and payments across required provinces
  • Conduct quarterly self-assessments to ensure adherence to corporate guidelines and internal controls
  • Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • with a CPA designation
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • SAP experience is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
