Job Responsibility

  • Lead the timely and accurate execution of the monthly close process
  • Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
  • Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances
  • Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies across entities
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and internal management reports
  • Identify trends and provide actionable business insights
  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies
  • Prepare and file applicable tax returns (including sales/use and excise tax)
  • Support research and application of applicable assistance or incentive programs
  • Assist with lender reporting and compliance requirements
  • Oversee bank and debt reconciliations
  • Manage daily cash operations, including fraud prevention processes
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning
  • Monitor working capital and banking activity
  • Partner with executive leadership on financing and capital structure
  • Support operating plans and monitor financial performance against targets
  • Mentor and develop finance team members
  • Improve systems, processes, and internal controls
  • Build relationships with financial partners and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting desired
  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of key processes and reporting
  • Strong experience with general ledger, multi-entity, and intercompany accounting

Nice to have

  • CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
  • Business Central a plus
  • Experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus
