Job Description

We are seeking a high-caliber Director of Finance to lead the financial operations for a multi-entity professional services organization. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing high-level strategic oversight with day-to-day operational excellence. Job Responsibility

  • lead the full-cycle month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy across all entities
  • prepare and present comprehensive monthly management packages, including variance analysis against budgets and historical data
  • deliver executive summaries and financial performance insights to the Board of Directors
  • manage financial forecasting and provide real-time updates to leadership regarding the company’s fiscal health
  • direct all treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring, urgent disbursements, and electronic fund transfers (EFT/wire)
  • optimize the accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring timely resolution of overdue items and vendor queries
  • oversee complex billing processes and timesheet submissions to ensure seamless revenue recognition
  • manage end-to-end payroll administration, including the processing of bonuses, commissions, and vacation accruals
  • act as the primary point of contact for external auditors to ensure a smooth annual audit process
  • maintain strict adherence to bank covenants and prepare quarterly compliance reporting
  • ensure all government filings and regulatory requirements are met accurately and on schedule
  • monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to contractor management and organizational placements

Requirements

  • CPA preferred but will also consider other relatable post graduate certifications/degrees
  • must be comfortable working in the office 4d/week
  • must be a blend of full cycle, hands on operational accounting as well as strategic finance business partner
  • must come from the recruitment, staffing, human capital consulting industry
