This will be Codeway’s first senior finance hire. You will report directly to the CEO and build the company’s financial planning and strategic finance capability from the ground up. This is not a role where you inherit a team or an existing playbook. There is currently no FP&A function, no formal planning cycle, and no dedicated strategic finance layer. You will establish the foundations and over time, build and lead the team behind them.
Job Responsibility:
Build robust financial models at both app and vertical level
Establish budgeting and forecasting cycles
Define, monitor, and refine core unit economics (LTV, CAC, ROAS, payback periods)
Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that give leadership real-time visibility into performance
Lead the financial architecture behind major company decisions
Drive portfolio evaluation and capital allocation strategy
Structure potential spin-offs
Build the financial case for strategic transactions, including IPO readiness
Shape the company’s equity story
Develop board-level materials and institutional-grade reporting
Benchmark against public consumer app peers
Build the narrative expected by long-term institutional investors
Requirements:
Experience in a high-growth consumer tech, mobile, or gaming company — ideally within the $100M–$500M revenue range
Strong fluency in app store economics, subscription models, and digital revenue dynamics
A track record of building from zero
Comfort operating at speed and in ambiguity
The confidence to challenge leadership constructively, combined with the maturity to operate effectively in a founder-led, product-driven culture
