Job Description

The Director of Finance & Transformation will serve as a critical member of the leadership team, partnering with the CEO and private equity operating partners to drive enterprise value creation. This role blends strategic oversight, hands-on execution, and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and has prior experience in private equity-backed portfolio companies. This individual will lead financial planning and analysis, oversee operational finance initiatives, and manage board-level reporting.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Prepare and present board decks for shareholder meetings and senior leadership sessions
  • Drive value creation projects, including M&A integration and synergy realization
  • Develop and implement business intelligence dashboards and performance metrics
  • Conduct scenario modeling to support strategic growth initiatives
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and commercial teams to align financial strategies with business objectives

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of financial analysis and operational finance experience in an operating company
  • Proven experience working with private equity firms and portfolio companies REQUIRED. Must have demonstrated working monthly with PE Firm
  • Strong background in board deck preparation and executive-level reporting
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
  • ability to translate data into strategic insights
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • experience with PowerBI preferred
  • BS/BA in Finance or related field
  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • Ability to work onsite in NW Houston five days a week
  • Previous experience managing direct reports is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Must have worked with a Portfolio Company of a Private Equity Firm
  • 10 plus year's work experience
  • Looking for a candidate that has Operational Finance Experience not Mergers and Acquisitions
