Requirements
  • Proven track record in a senior finance operator role at a high-growth B2B SaaS business, with direct experience of a Series A or B inflection point
  • Deep commercial fluency in B2B SaaS metrics: ARR, NRR, pipeline coverage, sales capacity, CAC/LTV and unit economics
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge and partner with GTM and commercial leadership, not just report to them
  • A concrete track record of having built and deployed AI-driven automation in a finance or operations context (not just tool experimentation)
  • Experience leading or materially supporting a VC fundraise, including financial modelling, data room preparation and investor diligence
  • A finance or numerically rigorous background: formal qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA) or a strong quantitative degree

Job Responsibility
Job Responsibility
  • Lead the Series B fundraise financial workstream: operating model, data room, KPI narrative, investor diligence and investor relations post-close
  • Own strategic FP&A: annual budget, rolling reforecast and a granular, bottoms-up operating model the board and founders can use to make real decisions
  • Partner with RevOps and commercial leadership to design and stress-test sales targets, quota structures, comp plans, pipeline coverage models and unit economics
  • Oversee the finance function end-to-end across UK and US entities: statutory accounts, audit, treasury, cash forecasting, FX exposure and multi-jurisdiction tax
  • Challenge the executive team on headcount, capital allocation and GTM strategy with commercial rigour and the willingness to push back when the numbers do not support the story
  • Build and deploy AI-native automation across close, FP&A, AR and operational workflows, raising the output quality of the finance function without increasing headcount
  • Lead, coach and develop the existing finance and operations team, raising both capability and AI fluency
  • Contribute to cross-functional strategic projects for the founders, including AI pricing strategy, new market entry analysis and operational reviews
