In this influential role, you’ll take the lead in refining financial processes, focusing on cost and managerial accounting, and working closely with supply chain and manufacturing teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in leveraging financial data to drive strategic decisions, improve operational efficiency, and increase profitability.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and mentor the Operational Finance team, fostering growth and ensuring succession planning
Manage product costing and inventory valuation processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and accuracy
Strengthen internal controls and processes related to cost accounting and operational finance
Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives to enhance margins and operational efficiency
Provide financial insights on asset utilization, performance metrics, and operational data to support business strategies
Deliver precise and timely financial reports to aid decision-making, forecasting, and strategic planning
Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain leaders to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities
Support new product development with detailed cost models, profitability assessments, and scenario analyses
Ensure the integrity of operational financial data by improving systems, documentation, and reporting processes
Present financial outcomes and actionable recommendations to senior leadership to guide strategic decisions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
advanced degrees are preferred
At least 8 years of progressive experience in managerial and cost accounting within manufacturing or operations environments, including 5 years leading teams
Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing finance, product costing, and operational financial processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems like Oracle
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate across functions and influence decisions
Proven ability to uphold financial accuracy, ethical judgment, and confidentiality
Demonstrated success in driving cost savings, improving inventory performance, and optimizing return on assets
