A leading provider in the Home Health and Hospice sector is seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Compliance. This position combines strategic financial oversight and regulatory compliance leadership to support sustainable growth and ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations across multiple service locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to core values and professional excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Provide operational financial direction and participate in key business partner meetings
Support business development initiatives, including prospect engagement and contract negotiations
Oversee management of advisory service agreements and major purchasing contracts
Take part in organizational strategic planning and regular leadership team meetings
Partner with executive leadership to update long-range financial plans
Present financial results and analysis to boards and committees
Represent the organization at industry associations and events
Monitor compliance with internal policies and relevant government regulations
Perform additional assignments as needed
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Minimum of 10 years’ leadership in healthcare finance or operations
Significant experience with home health, hospice, or homecare settings
Strong skills in financial analysis and modeling
Familiarity with healthcare-specific financial systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including engagement with executive and board-level stakeholders
Nice to have:
Multi-site experience within home health and hospice operations
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CHC, or CHFP
In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations (CMS, OASIS, HIS, EVV, etc.)
Experience developing and maintaining healthcare compliance programs
Proficiency with compliance tools and EHR systems
Demonstrated success managing audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives
