Responsible for the management of all aspects of the Events Division, to include Meetings & Special Events, Audio Visual, Destination Services, Event Concierge, whilst coordinating with Banquets
Leads, implements, and maintains a management philosophy in alignment with company standards
Provides strategic direction and operational leadership for all meetings, conventions, social events, and bespoke experiences hosted at the property
Partners closely with Sales, Culinary, Banquets, Rooms, and Marketing to ensure revenue optimization, brand integrity, and seamless service delivery consistent with Forbes Five-Star standards
Develops and implements hotel–wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of guests and employees
Has overall responsibility for achieving top line revenue, profitability, event planner and employee satisfaction
Oversees the functions of Event Management, including the departments of Event Planning, Banquets/Catering, Event Service and Event Technology
Ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives
Has overall responsibility for executing all property events with a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales
Ensures the team meets the brand’s target customer needs, ensures employee satisfaction, focuses on growing event revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the department

Requirements
Requires 4-5 years luxury experience in meetings, conventions, or special events within a luxury hotel or resort environment as a Senior Manager or Associate Director
Proven experience in a Five-Star / Five-Diamond or ultra-luxury hospitality setting strongly preferred
Demonstrated success leading large teams and managing complex, high-revenue event portfolios
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and profitability management
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Highly organized with a detail-oriented, solution-driven mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation luxury environment
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred
Previous experience with meeting planners / incentive houses
Excellent reading, written and verbal communication skills in English.
