Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Equity Administration, reporting to the Head of Global Equity Administration in our Legal team, to grow and further improve the administration of Atlassian’s global equity plans. By applying your business instincts and technical expertise, you will help define strategy, and contribute to process improvements, automation projects, and M&A activities. Your collaborative nature and teamwork approach will not only help you excel in your current responsibilities but also pave the way for future career advancements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define, build, and optimize processes and workflows to create scalable and future-proof solutions that anticipate needs beyond the present state
  • Collaborate with business partners to enable their teams to easily and efficiently access and utilize equity data to achieve mutual goals
  • Translate complex requirements into clear and accurate final products that help our teams achieve organizational objectives
  • Indulge your technical curiosity and apply your acquired knowledge to solve problems effectively
  • Be a thought partner with our equity plan vendor, Morgan Stanley at Work, on the development of new features
  • Actively lead the Equity team’s strategic projects, process improvements, automation initiatives, and M&A activity

Requirements:

  • A BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or any other related field of study
  • 6+ years of equity-related professional experience in a public company
  • CEP certification
  • Comprehensive experience with end-to-end equity administration
  • In depth familiarity with accounting for stock-based compensation and financial reporting requirements
  • High level of expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the use of macros and named ranges
  • Experience with automated systems integrations
  • Ability to execute under pressure and within timelines, with tremendous organization and attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills in conjunction with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple special tasks simultaneously
  • Customer service/employee-first oriented style with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and internal/external partners
  • A healthy sense of humor, with a how-can-I-help, get-it-done attitude

  • Have experience with Shareworks, Workday, and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management)
