We are seeking a visionary and enthusiastic Director of Entertainment to join our team in the vibrant resort destination of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the leader of our entertainment division, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative and engaging entertainment programmes that captivate our guests and enhance their overall experience.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and oversee a diverse range of entertainment activities and events tailored to our guests' preferences and the unique culture of Phu Quoc
Lead and inspire a team of entertainment professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence
Manage the entertainment budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of high-quality programmes
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote entertainment offerings and drive guest engagement
Negotiate and maintain relationships with external vendors, performers, and entertainment agencies
Analyse performance metrics and guest feedback to continuously improve entertainment offerings
Ensure all entertainment activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
Stay abreast of global entertainment trends and integrate innovative concepts into our programmes
Represent the entertainment department in management meetings and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the resort
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the entertainment industry, with a proven track record in managing large-scale entertainment programmes
Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or tourism sector
Exceptional skills in event planning, creative programming, and project management
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
Excellent team leadership abilities with a talent for inspiring and developing staff
Proficiency in marketing and promotion strategies for entertainment programmes
Superior negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with vendors and performers
In-depth knowledge of entertainment trends and industry best practices
Understanding of Vietnamese culture and entertainment preferences, coupled with familiarity with international entertainment standards
Excellent communication skills in English
knowledge of Vietnamese language is an advantage
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing successful entertainment strategies
