Job Description:

Provides a high level of property maintenance knowledge with overall responsibility for maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Develops and implements strategies that will deliver products and services which meet or exceed the needs and expectations of guests and employees while maximizing financial performance.

Job Responsibility:

Manage property maintenance and physical plant
Ensure safety, security and asset protection
Manage budget and capital expenditure projects
Implement preventative maintenance and energy conservation
Develop and implement strategies to meet guest and employee needs
Maintain standards and regulatory requirements
Lead emergency response team
Manage engineering operations and budgets
Oversee physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems
Administer service contracts
Manage controllable expenses
Develop engineering operating strategy
Oversee execution of preventative maintenance and asset protection plans
Supervise construction projects
Ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations
Maintain property life safety systems
Manage payroll function
Participate in capital expenditure planning
Conduct human resources activities

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
6 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
4 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing
