Job Responsibility

  • Provide direction, mitigate risk and offer solutions tailored to client’s business needs
  • Remain hands-on in the codebase, regularly troubleshooting, designing, and developing production-grade solutions while balancing technical execution with architectural and team leadership responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product owners and other business partners to understand and refine requirements that drive innovative cloud native B2B SaaS solution architecture, technology, and tools
  • Help set up and lead a high performing team of developers and engineers for our platform
  • Provide technical leadership to our development team
  • propose and update team standards and policies
  • Contribute technically through feature development oversight, technical design oversight and process streamlining
  • Coordinate proof-of-concept as needed to determine technology solutions in alignment with the Director of Architecture
  • Identify open source and commercial solutions for integration
  • Define solution API’s guidelines and integration with third party systems
  • Provide thought leadership and own the long-term development vision for multi-cloud SaaS delivery platform
  • Oversee building of cloud-native applications based on scalable, portable, and resilient designs

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Good communication skills and used to interfacing constantly with peers
  • 4+ years of management experience, leading global technical development teams (5 to 20 people)
  • A passionate IT professional with a strong technical background who thrives on day-to-day details, coding, and troubleshooting
  • Hands on experience (8+ years) developing with some/all tools of our tech stack (React, TypeScript, node.js, Postgres, GitHub, C#, Terraform, Remix/React Router, Tailwind CSS, React-Aria-Components, Vite, Vitest, AWS and Azure clouds)
  • A decisive individual who takes ownership of the decisions, assumes full responsibility, and steps up to face challenges head-on
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases is desirable
  • Constantly seeking out better ways to do things, enjoying learning and adapting quickly to arrive at a solution using new technologies, frameworks and tools
  • Experience operating in an Agile Environment
  • You are a dedicated leader, looking to develop teams and team members
  • You are a self-starter, able to see what needs to be done from inception to implementation
  • You can lead discussions about complex solution design tradeoffs and drive conflict resolution while thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills even during hard situations
  • You are a good partner in different areas (product owner, chiefs, customer services)
