We’re looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Director of Digital Experiences to own our company’s website experience. This role will collaboratively build the Digital Experience Roadmap according to business and stakeholder goals and consistently deliver on roadmap milestones. This role will lead day-to-day management of our WordPress environment and play a critical role in the upcoming re-platforming to a next-generation Digital Experience Platform (DXP), helping us elevate our digital presence. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders across content, creative, business marketing, and performance to bring our brand and value proposition to life across digital touchpoints. In addition to interfacing with external agency partners, you'll help shape a website experience that serves as a central asset in our marketing engine. This role will be accountable for achieving and maintaining above benchmark web performance as measured by tools such as: Core Web Vitals, SiteImprove and Lighthouse Performance. This is a highly collaborative role focused on user journeys, information architecture, and governance, in addition to seamless coordination with SEO, paid media, and marketing automation to ensure alignment across web efforts.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, in collaboration with Senior Stakeholders, the digital experience roadmap and effectively lead the web team in consistent, high-quality delivery of commitments
Manage and maintain the Zelis.com website, ensuring above benchmark technical performance, functionality, security, and alignment with brand guidelines
Lead a globalized team with across multiple countries and time zones
Support the strategic planning and execution of migrating the current website to alternative hosting platform, ensuring minimal disruption and enhanced capabilities
Oversee the updating and optimization of website content, responding quickly to intake requests and collaborating with content creators and business marketing to ensure relevance and engagement
Monitor and proactively report on website performance using analytics tools. Generate reports and provide insights to inform strategies for traffic growth and user engagement
Develop and maintain an intuitive site structure and information architecture to enhance user experience and support business objectives
Utilize visualization tools such as Figma to clearly articulate website design elements and create alignment around user journeys
Partner with Growth, Performance, Content, Creative, and Business Marketing teams to align web strategies with broader marketing goals
Continuously assess and improve the website's user experience, ensuring accessibility and responsiveness across devices
Requirements:
12-15 years of experience with 5-7 years of experience managing large-scale websites in B2B or enterprise environments
Demonstrated experience playing a leading role in a migration, redesign or re-platforming exercise
Experience with DXP platforms like Optimizely, Sitecore, Contentful, or Adobe Experience Manager
Established web QA process and experience guiding teams to deliver the highest quality digital experiences
A structured approach to web analytics and the ability to connect data across various systems to understand web performance and user journeys
Proficiency in WordPress and experience with DXP platforms
Experience building a unified design system for modular design elements
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to communicate for impact across all levels of an organization
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web publishing standards
Excellent project management skills and the ability to deftly transition between tactical and strategic execution
A deep understanding of user experience, especially in B2B contexts
Experience driving both content and technical SEO
Familiarity with CRMs and Marketing automation platforms like Salesforce and HubSpot
Experience integrating websites through mergers and acquisitions
Knowledge of accessibility standards and compliance
Background in B2B SaaS or healthcare tech industries
