Vail Resorts seeks dynamic digital leaders to shape and execute end-to-end guest experiences across our websites and the My Epic app. This role will drive measurable improvements in conversion, engagement, and satisfaction through guest-centric design, personalization, and data-driven innovation. As a key leader, you will champion a guest-journey mindset and collaborate across Marketing, Technology, Lines of Business, and Mountain Operations to deliver seamless, omni-channel experiences that align with brand standards and business objectives. Job Responsibility:
Drive eCommerce & Guest Experience Strategy: Lead initiatives to optimize purchase flow, enhance engagement, and deliver on financial and guest experience goals
Deliver Digital Products & Programs: Oversee development and launch of new digital experiences through internal and external teams, leveraging best-in-class product management practices
Shape Content Strategy: Define and execute content strategies that position Vail Resorts’ websites and app as leaders in the ski and travel industries
Champion Performance Culture: Build a data-driven approach using dashboards and best practices to guide optimizations, maximize revenue, and boost engagement across web and app
Partner with IT: Align on platform architecture, investment priorities, and operational readiness to ensure exceptional guest experiences
Lead Cross-Functional Planning: Facilitate PI and backlog prioritization meetings to allocate resources effectively and align with guest needs and business objectives
Ensure Operational Excellence: Develop and maintain processes and systems that enable scalable, high-quality digital guest experiences
Develop High-Performing Teams: Mentor and grow talent, foster a product management mindset, and advance leadership capabilities
Leverage Guest Insights: Monitor feedback from websites and apps, using insights to inform future enhancements and advocate for guest needs internally
Manage Strategic Partnerships: Oversee relationships with external agencies and platform partners to ensure alignment with business goals and timely delivery
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related degree
8+ years experience in eCommerce, App or Digital innovation
8+ years of supervisory experience
Experience with Content Stack, Sitecore, Adobe platforms, Brightedge, Airship, Adobe Analytics, JIRA, Microsoft Office, and other digital tool sets
8+ years experience in a digital/e-comm consumer driven business
Experience leading teams successfully through change
Experience operating existing digital/e-comm experiences and building new
