A rapidly scaling, technology-enabled healthcare services organization is seeking a Director of Diagnostic Laboratory Sales to lead strategic growth within the laboratory vertical. This organization delivers advanced, data-driven solutions that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency for healthcare providers through analytics, automation, and deep domain expertise. This is a hands-on, quota-carrying leadership role focused on net-new business development, enterprise deal execution, and market expansion.
Job Responsibility
Drive $5M+ in annual net-new revenue through strategic business development
Build, manage, and convert a high-value pipeline, tracking funnel health, velocity, and conversion metrics
Execute a targeted territory strategy focused on diagnostic labs, reference labs, and key decision-makers
Lead full-cycle consultative sales processes, from prospecting through contract negotiation and close
Engage and influence executive stakeholders, including CFOs, Revenue Cycle Leaders, and Laboratory Executives
Position complex solutions by aligning financial, operational, and clinical value drivers
Partner cross-functionally with executive leadership, SMEs, operations, and implementation teams to drive deal success
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and activity tracking within CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
Contribute to go-to-market strategy, messaging, and vertical expansion initiatives
Requirements
7-10+ years of B2B consultative sales experience within healthcare
Proven success selling into diagnostic laboratories, reference labs, or adjacent healthcare organizations
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed quota in enterprise sales environments
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with extended timelines
Strong existing network within laboratory organizations and industry partners
Advanced negotiation skills with expertise in value-based selling and contracting
High level of financial and operational business acumen
Deep understanding of laboratory revenue cycle workflows, including billing, coding, payer dynamics, and reimbursement models across molecular, pathology, and toxicology
